Headshots that feel like you, not a performance of you.

Studio sessions in Midtown Manhattan, built for actors and creatives who need images that work as hard as they do. Every session is shot personally by Sean.

I work with a limited number of actors each month. Every session starts with a consultation call, so we can make sure it's the right fit before we get in the studio.

Hi, I’m Sean

I’ve Been on
Your Side of
the Camera.

17 years behind the lens, and years in front of it. I know how casting reads a photo: can they place you, your type, your range, what you’d bring to the room. Every session is built around that, and I shoot every one personally.

Read my story

Headshot of a man with dark hair, wearing a light blue collared shirt, standing against a dark background, with arms crossed and a slight smile.
Two people, a man and a woman, are looking at something on a camera or device, smiling and interacting in a well-lit indoor space.
A woman is sitting in front of a photography set up with studio lights, while a man is looking through a camera aimed at her, capturing her portrait.

Built for
Range

Casting needs to see more than one version of you. Every session is planned to give you a set that works across the types you actually submit for.

The Process

Most headshot sessions produce photos where you look pretty, but not like yourself. That gap is the difference between a headshot that gets a second look and one that gets skipped. My process is built to close it.

1. The Consultation

Every session starts before you set foot in the studio, with a video consultation to talk through your goals, your type, and what to bring.

2. Wardrobe & Prep

When you arrive, we go through wardrobe together and steam everything on the spot. No guessing, no wasted looks.

3. The Shoot

From there, it's hands-on. We shoot test frames and review them together on screen as we go, adjusting lighting, angle, and expression in real time until what's on the monitor actually looks like you, not a version of you dressed up for a camera. Most of what I'm doing in the room is making you comfortable enough to forget it's happening. Confidence reads on camera, and it's the difference between a shot that's technically good and one that's actually you.

4. Built for Range

Because casting needs range, every session is built to capture more than one version of you (theatrical, commercial, TV/film), so you walk away with a set that's marketable across the types you're actually submitting for, not just one strong frame.

5. After the Shoot

You get a full gallery of every image, unwatermarked, with retouching available to bring your final selects to casting-ready polish.

Questions

What should I wear?

Bring a range. Solids photograph better than patterns, and layers give us more to work with. We’ll go over specifics on your prep call and steam everything together at the start.

How long until I get my photos?

Your full gallery, unwatermarked, within 5 business days. Retouched images take 5 more business days.

Can I reschedule?

Life happens. Let us know at least 48 hours before your session to keep your deposit. See the Studio Terms.

Where is the studio?

Midtown Manhattan, around 38th Street and 8th Avenue. Ask us for nearby parking garage recommendations.

Do I need hair and makeup?

It’s optional. Casting now wants hair and makeup that looks like your everyday self, so many actors do their own. You’re welcome to bring an artist for a studio fee, and I can recommend people I trust.

How many images do I get?

Every image from your session is in your gallery. You choose which ones to retouch for final, casting ready polish, at $35 per image.

Can I use them beyond casting?

Yes. They’re yours for submissions, your website, social media or anything else.
